    km 5050 poor background printing

    Hi all,

Hm. How do I explain this. I have excel tables with colour background (yellow) and (blue). When I print from PC i have uneven spread of shading .
Konica Minolta prints all backgrounds the same(no matter what color they are) .
Kyocera km5050 puts more shading on blue and less on yellow and it does not spred it even. I have like waves on that shading.
Tried all possible settings in PC print setup
    1. Can i setup my machine for same shading for all background colors? How?
    2. What is with this waves ? Which doesn't seem to appear on the text but only shading

For starters, when translating different color backgrounds to grayscale, yellow will not look like red, which will not look like blue. Typically warm colors like purple, brown, and red will appear darker than cool colors like blue. This is consistent on all black and white printers.

Most likely what you're noticing is some unevenness to the 1/2 tone background in those particular cells. As the quality components wear in your machine, that is the first sign that your machine is in need of maintenance. It could be caused by generic toner, or a dirty corona wire, or a developing unit with over 500K prints on it, or a failing drum.

You aren't going to be able to solve this problem for free, and I won't be able to solve it in a forum post. Call your tech. Generally endusers that are this busy pinching their pennies learn to live with this sort of issue until it becomes more noticeable. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Well I know I am close to 500k service and in need of new service kit .
But I ponder how KonicaMinolta bizhub 223 shows all the background in same shade ? And I would like that on my machine

I can't answer that for you since it's just plainly not true. If it bothers you enough you'll get that maintenance kit and some OEM toner to run in your machine. And maybe even pay a trained tech to do it for you. =^..^=

Toner is OEM, no money for kit atm and I am training hehe

PS. I would gladly pay a trained tech but I just started my business and I can just pay me . Ofc my goal is to sit on the beach and pay other people to do the hard work and brainstorming

I like that plan. Let me know how it works out. =^..^=
