    KM 2550 Speckles

I suspect a customer bought generic toner and now I have speckles.
Can I replace the toner cartridge and run some skyshots to use up the junk????
    Thanks for any input.
    I don't need the manual.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

It's most likely that the specks are on the drum too.

What you have is inferior "binder" in the toner/developer.

I love it when some dumb-ass buys "pirate toner".

Make sure YOUR company didn't sell it to them.

I haven't seen it myself, but I've heard that the generic toner can cause the primary to arc, giving you random arc-nicks in the drum. They're easy to see.

And I'd probably vacuum out the rest of the junk toner.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
