    "Just The Fax"

    Hey I'm about to swap out a fax modem from a CS250ci to a TA250ci. Both boxes have print and scan.
    Is there any codes or format I need to know?
    IT person at this account mentioned he had tried to swap had no luck.
    He said he had installed memory with modem box but machine did not recognize it.
    Is this modem compatible? I would guess yes but thought I would ask one of you aces to confirm
    before I make a fool of myself. Again LOL!

      Make sure that you install the memory. You possibly will need to update the firmware as well.

          If you get a 0650 or 0620 code, run MM671 to clear.

              Right on. The initialize is U600. =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
