    Kyocera Taskalfa 250ci no texte only image

    hi
    i have a kyocera taskalfa 250ci that print only images no texte at all
    even the status page are blank with small kyocera logo but no texte the color band on top of the page and panton logo show but no texte
    i change the hdd and memory but nothing change.....

    any suggestion...???

      If you make a b/w copy is it blank. If so check the contacts on the transfere belt assy. The contacts can come loose and there will be no transfere for the color. In this case black.

          copymech is most of the way there.

          The main thing is that the text on these reports is black, and it's the black developing that you'll need to look at. Mostly likely you've lost black developer agitation. Other possibilities: dead developer, or dirty primary charge roller.

          If it were me, first I'd start by manually turning the black developing unit (or trying to). The rear developer seals may leak, then seize up developing unit. If it turns easily, then second I'd take a look at the error report for, say, C7101 errors. That could mean a developing motor failure or just dead developer. You can test that motor in sim U030. =^..^=

          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

              hai i also faced this problem in yesterday same but my machine showsC7101 error code i check in black developer having problem, back side of the black developer gear broken i change that machine solved the problem after machine ready for copy

                  I've got similar issue on one of my 250ci.

                  It has about 180k prints, and is under heavy load with about 1k full color prints a day (i know not the best model for it). Thing is that only black color starts fading until it's gone. I replaced black dv and it came back. After one week it faded again, than I've put brand new black dv, but the same problem appeared after another week of usage. Thing is there aren't any error codes or problems, just this. Not sure what to replace next.

                  Any help much appreciated.

                          A bit late on reply. Nope, don't have them, it's a model from 2009. I assume you are referring to Developing motor K (DEVM-K)?

                              Yes sir. You should also check the cleaning motors. They were updated also. See bulletin: B6

                              Another reason that one of your motors may turn slowly, is if a tech accidentally pinched one of the wires to frame ground. Surprisingly it still runs, just more slowly. I have seen the enemy ... and it is me. =^..^=

                                  cleaning motor k prob
                                  when you run sim 464 ac calib every motor should run
