    km 4050 seriously misbehaving!!!!!!

Hey friends,I have km4050 that is the centre of all problems.Firstly, when you switch it on,it may power on or just give you a blank screen(with the power led on).Secondly it keeps giving this error c6000 or c6400 especially when it waking from sleep mode.the thermostats are both bypassed and firmware upgraded to version 2GR_2000.032.002. The thermister has also been replaced all by me.where am I missing the point.point to note, when you clear the fixing error it may work for a day or two then it comes back!

there was a mod bulletin regarding fuser error when they first came out. Had to replace the fuser connector and a bracket around it. Try refitting memory modules in the control panel and back of the copier. Also clean fuser fan and all filters. Clean the psu from all the dust if any and the fan inside the control panel that blows the dust on the memory module. New fuser?

You do not have the most current firmware 2.45a 2GR_2000.035.002 issued 08/2010 is the latest and 2.43 2GR_2000.032.002 issued 02/2010. I believe that an overheating issue was addressed in version 2.20 S2GR_2000019009 08/2008.

Have electrician to check power. First thing to get knocked out is fuser if the power isnt consistant.

If its mostly from wakeup then that initial current draw is doing something to the machine.

I don't endorse bypassing the thermostats, and will not comment further on this thread. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
