account codes

    [Misc] account codes

    yesterday this kyocera 5500i was working good but today none of their account codes will work.

      Do a mode 917 backup. Then format Hd. Restore ,then if doesn't work replaced hd.

        The account codes are stored on the hard drive. When the hard drive fails, the codes are gone.

          True that. It's probably too late to get the backup now. You'll have to reconstruct it from scratch, along with you addressbook, and anything else that was stored on the HDD. =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

            What do you know, heading out this morning on a 5500i with account codes that stopped working .... got my HDD and a cup of coffee ... all is well.
