    Kyocera FS4020DN, how to......

....replace the right hand black bushing #302F924190 of the transfer roller?

There is a white plastic lever on top of it which I cannot remove easily. It seems that I have to take off the white part to replace the bushing but how?

The manuals are not giving any clue.

Sorry Hans, I haven't had the pleasure. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Found it. Brought the machine into the workshop and with good light and a mirror I discovered that there is a latch molded into the black plastic frame which keeps the white lever from sliding to the right.

          Phew....

            Try this ........

Remove DV, DK, etc, The cam is just snapped into place; use a flat tip screwdriver as a lever and push the cam to the right .
This should give you enough room to replace the broken bushing .
( You may have to remove the Duplex unit and Engine board to get to the clips on the bottom of the bushing; sometimes these bushings will just pop out .)
Then just snap the cam back into position.

            GOOD LUCK !!!!!

The other way is to remove the entire right side frame , then the cam , then you can EASILY ( HA HA HA ) replace the bushing .

            Hope this helps .......

Oh man i remember this one. After an hour of sweating i butchered the right side just to have a peak thru a tiny hole which showed me the latch at the bottom side of the white plastic piece. Nowadays i just use two smaller flat screwdrivers, one to press the latch under and other to slide it to the right, takes like 5 seconds.
