I have been fighting this intermittent error for about a year now. It is a communication error between the engine pwb and the scan pwb. I have checked the connections in the book. Is the only way i am going to fix this problem is change the boards. Anyone have any work-arounds or any suggestions ? Thanks so much for any help...

Re: Kyocera KM 6030 C0220 Error code
It's not anything I've seen. Do you have a donor machine to swap boards with? Have you set up the power quality analyzer yet? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Kyocera KM 6030 C0220 Error code
I wish I had boards to swap... I have wondered about the power since I had another machine their with a power issue. I actually rolled (that machine) around the building plugging it in to different circuits. Ended up defective power supply.... A little history... This machine came out of storage after 4 years and after I put maintenance kits on it etc... the teachers started running about 50K a month on it for about 7 months so far. The error code was always popping up but until recently the code won't go away... (Basically, turning the machine off and on would clear code)Comment

I had this about a year ago on a KM 5050, the SCSI connector had tarnished connectors. Sprayed them down with contact cleaner then silicone spray took care of the problem and haven't had it since. The silicone will keep out the moisture and still conduct fine. Hope it helps.Comment
