Update with pic (Horrible things shown!! Including "Y" drum and door "flap") -

i got the same problem in 2550ci , the waste was not going out of drum units and the clutch for put out the waste inside of the drum was broken. also there is a bulletin about a clutch that moves the parts pipe transfer cleaning coming off so the same can occurs to tansfer belt. check out if waste toner container is empty or not filled as expected so machine is not cleaning fine, i remember i changed inner section because all drums just broke the cleaning helicoidal clucth when full of toner inside the units.

Try a new transfer belt. I have Repl several for toner smudges.

Possibly related, but that drum pic looks a lot like the black drum units on the 500ci series when the drum cleaning motor failed.

awww shite.

check your waste toner bottle. IF THERE is NONE inside or strangely minimal, the waste toner drive shaft is detached. take the transfer belt out, look inside (far end)and see if you spot a long stick leaning on something.

do it quickly, it will chew out all them gear teeth like ALL OF THEM.


But if the waste toner level is healthy(plenty) the cleaning blade is shot, and they are awful cant even take a beating.

If your getting colour streaks down the page there is a bulletin for a change of gear on the charge roller to stop vibration
