New MP2001SP black prints

Hi all,

I have to look at a new install of the MP2001 with blank prints, i'm guessing this is because it doesn't come with dev!? My collegue has ordered developer for the machine, could someone please provide the install procedure/dev set up etc much appreciated as i've never seen this new model before! ��

Without developer the print would be white, so if the print is black, there should be developer/toner in the machine. Black prints are often caused by charging problems.

Sorry, my bad, BLANK prints!

Exactly the same as a MP2000 etc, open up the PCDU, pour in the dev and run dev initialise. Do you not have a manual?

Thanks, yes I have access to the manual but just being lazy as I prob won't have time to research!

Aficio MP 2001 is a digital copier. There is no upgrade path to add print, scan or fax functionality. Aficio MP 2001 is equipped with a single 250 sheet paper tray and a 100 sheet active bypass. There is no duplex or duplex option. There are options to add a platen cover or ARDF and a 1 or 2 x 500 sheet paper tray. With the 2 x 500 sheet paper tray fitted, the paper capacity can be expanded to 1350 sheets.

Standard Configuration:
1- 20 ppm digital copier
2- A6 to A3 paper formats
3- 250 sheet paper tray
4- 100 sheet active bypass
5- 250 sheet internal catch tray
6- Control panel with four line LCD

Options include:
1- Platen cover or ARDF
2- 1 x 500 sheet paper tray, or
3- 2 x 500 sheet paper tray
