Any Kyocera aficionados know why this box will freeze after 6 pages in copies or prints? I swapped out the HDD for a known good one from another box and swapped out the RAM too. Same thing. What's next? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. I already have the manual. The machine will run on as if it is paused in print job but won't reset until I turn machine off then back on again.

Start with firmware. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

HDD, RAM, firmware ... all that's left is the firmware DIMM and the main PWB, each followed by firmware (not turbo). Maybe the operation panel? It's know to be the cause of firmware lockups. Let us know what you find.If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

Re: Kyocera CS 300i freezes up ater 6 prints or copies
Maybe try with network cable disconnected.....once had similar instance that the switch that the copier was connected to had a network cable with both ends plugged into the switch and caused weird lockups. Maybe an issue with firmware still. Try removing finisher and testing. Try downgrading firmware and testing. If finisher was added after firmware was done then it may conflict. If firmware version made a big jump in versions, then some files may be missing, may need to downgrade then upgrade firmware.IBM, Mita, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Kyocera, HyPAS, Canon, Oce, Samsung, HP, TEO IP PBX/Unified Communications, Comptia Network+ Comptia PDI+ CertificationsComment
