[CQ] 8000i CQ problem after MK-A service

    Hi Everyone.

I have a major issue on a 8000i that i have just serviced.
I fitted a MK-A kit and ran through the workflow in U952 but now have the above problem on the prints.
If i re-install the original developing unit then the results are better but still with some marks.

Has anyone had this before? solution.

I do hope so as the machine only needed a service :-)

Pull out the dev unit and make sure you have removed this rubber from it:

And also upgrade the firmware to latest 07.06.0040 version, and do ac calibration U464.

It looks to me like a voltage issue (arcing) as if the developer unit is not connecting properly. Check the harness and earth connector on the developer unit and machine. It might even have affected the main charge...so I would check that too.
      Good luck...
The product may be brilliant and the salesperson proficient, but if the technician isn’t efficient, then the story will end there.
