    [Dead] KM-4050 "Program Loading Problem"

    After switching on main power machine penal displays "Program Loading" continuously.

    as per some forum posts i have tired to clean both DIMMs(RAM) on penal and main PCB also disconnected Hard drive but the problem is still there.
    My current Firmware version is 2GR_2000.032.002 2010.01.15 is there any new firmware can solve my problem and from where i can download the firmware.

      Most current is 2.45A released four or five years ago.

          This can also be the Operation Panel, the main board on it might have gone bad on you. I would recommend swapping it with a good one in the shop and seeing what happens.

              Had the same a few years ago after replacing the Touch Panel. One connector was not fitted well.

                  yep, also has a chance of being the copier main board, we had a customer who had this as well, swapped panels, dimms, and memory. only after replacing the board did it come back to life.

                      I just had this same problem yesterday, It would say "program loading" continuously, I replaced the hard drive and that took care of the problem.

                          Dear All

                          Thanks for every one for shearing their valuable field experience.
                          In my case the problem has been found that 512MB DDR2(SDRAM) on main PCb was faulty and its easily available on any computer shop but make sure it should be 400Mhz.
