Has anyone ever seen a machine completely loose its memory with no errors? We have had a customer call on 2 separate occasions claiming they cant scan to email, and sure enough the settings are just gone. Same thing with the tiers we have setup.

Re: SMTP and Tier info vanishing?!?!?
On an Alphard I, I've recently replaced a PBA Main Controller for the MFP dumping the IP address twice a day. Just the IP address reverts to 0.0.0.0
Everything else holds fine. Does that help any? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Check the error log for F27A codes.
If the F27A is occurring around the time of the info vanishing, make sure you are at the latest firmware version
there is info in the firmware release notes about the F27A codes and partial initialization of settings.Comment

The network settings are held on the HDD. A reformat dumps them. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
