    [Jamming] DF-790

I have a new DF-790. The problem is the machine will come to ready and the finisher is not going through any type of warm up. When I press the start button, the machine shows JAM 0300 on the screen, but machine never tries to pick up paper so there is no paper in machine. If I open the front door of finisher it will clear jam code and try to run again with same results. In service mode I am not able to activate any motors or solenoids for the finisher.
Does anyone have something like this?

Have you looked at the connectors for the finisher that get installed with the bridge unit?

Clearly, you've got a communication issue, and the four usual suspects:

      Pigtail
      Main PWB
      Finisher PWB
      Firmware

... in that order. You didn't mention the host machine ... are you sure it's compatible? DF-790 versus DF-790(B)?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Sounds like a firmware issue.
The TA300ci would jamb random from brand new when all accessory's where installed as new.
Udate the firmware immediately an you had a working machine.
