In the service manual for this machine, on page 1-3-71, is the process for developer refresh. The first step tells me to enter the Service Setting Menu. Is the Service Setting Menu the same thing as listed on page 1-3-61, where it gives me steps to enter Service Mode? Or is there another way to enter this Service Setting Menu in the book? Help locating or in how to enter the Service Setting Menu will be most appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

It's entered through the System Settings. More than likely, if your copies are light, a developer refresh isn't going to help.
Take out the DV units & cover them well & shake them real good. There's also a good test page in the Service settings for troubleshooting.
