    4051i

anyone have instructions on how to set up user codes with print/copy limitation. the manual has 41 pages of instructions, not all is needed i know, wanting to send this to customer. been awhile since i've messed with this on a Kyocera.

local authentication with the limitations is all they need at this point.

    thanks

Are you wanting User Authentication and Job Accounting or just the Job Accounting?

Nice thing with the 01 series is the Command Center RX lets you do Job Accounting logged in as Admin under the Management Settings.

Not sure I've ever seen this covered in any training from Kyocera or Konica Minota in the last 24 years.

I'm pretty sure they expect us to read the manuals for most of the stuff.

Could this be an Alphard II, i.e. KM-4501i? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
