    DP-410

    ERROR CODE C0410

    DP* communication problem
    Communication fails five times successively.

    sugestion

    Replace the engine PCB or DP driver PCB
    and check for correct operation.

    Customer is experiencing this quite often. Kyocera released a bulletin (sb-7442) about the grounding plate which has worked in the past on other doc feeders but this doc feeder has the updated grounding plate so its not an earthing issue.

    Any body have any ideas before i replace the board or check the harness (doubt it will be that...)

    The machine in question is a km-2550 (i think)

      Just ground the mounting brackets of the two motors together with a piece of wire and that should help with the bulk of the errors.

          There is a new style DP main board to solve this problem. I believe the grounding wire was intended as a temporary measure. =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                      I also had two different machines that the cable from the adf to the machine was bad. Wiggle the cable and see if the code comes up.
