All the C04xx codes are communication errors with various accessories, but yes, that code does not exist as far as I can tell. Did you actually see this code ... or are you relying on the accuracy of the observations of an enduser?
It's probably something else. My WAG is C0440, and a loose connector to the DF. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

thanks for the reply blackcat,
and yes i'm seeing this error my self and let me tell you what happen :
i lost my scanner login so i entered the service mode and reset the scanner, then restart the machine and every thing is good
, then i entered the service mode again to clear error logs and oups the machine freezes 
so i restart and boom the code error c0430 is shown . what a horrible day !!
