    [Misc] Black copy from feeder and glace TASKalfa 520i

    Hi all,
    I have a problem with a TASKalfa 520i. When copying from glace or DP, it's coming black but all prints are OK. I need solution or service bulletin please.
    The firmware is update.

      What happens when you scan?
      Does the lamp light?

      Some possibilities:
      Exposure lamp
      CCD
      Scan Control Unit
      Harnesses
      Main PWB

      =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          When color scan it's magenta And B/W it's black. Harkness is good. Exposure lamp ils OK; it's lighting.

              I think you can safely rule out the lamp.

              It probably won't help, but it won't cost you anything but time to re-seat connectors to the CCD and the Scan Control Unit. =^..^=

                  Sounds like you lost your scanner settings, I've had this a few times on 300i's and 520's. You need the special test charts to perform Sim 411 & 425 to get them back.

                          Yes I would suggest charts. Had similar happen on a M2535 would come out white no image. Performed service modes with special charts all was well.
