Can you print status report from maintenance mode?

Maybe fixing unit can't reach printing temperature!

yes i did check that but it won't print unless the printer in the device/communication displays ready. checked many times and waited a long time but printer still displays "pausing".
the machine is being used as a photocopier only.
i'll try replacing the fixing unit.
            many thanks.

you may have a dodgy file locked into the server and everytime you switch on the machine it resends it to the printer.take the network cable out switch the machine off for a couple of minutes ,then turn back on and check the status/job cancel button .the next thing if there are no jobs on the status page .you will have to delete the job from the pc or server.then plug your network cable back in.

the machine is used as a stand alone photocopier only. not attached to a pc or a network.
sometimes when we turned it on in the morning the printers displays ready but later the printer will display "pausing". but sometimes also when we turned it on in the morning the printer displays "pausing" already.

                  I think I'd start with firmware. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                  1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                  2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                  3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                  4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                  5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
