DF-73, C-8030 error code ( KM5035 )

I haven't found a common fix to this problem. It occurs during offset only. Stapling works fine. Kyocera suggsted replacement of the DF main PCB which led to nothing.

Do you have the service manual for the DF-73 ? If not, PM me and I will upload it for you. Might be easier than trying to type it all out.

As you are looking at the rear side of the machine you have 2 sensors,an upper lift sensor and a lower sensor for when the tray is in home position,either up or down.I have had this error code before and it was the upper sensor,the error code was happening after I did a 906 reset it came straight up.I replaced the sensors and now it is ok..hope this helps out.
