If reset disable function doesn't work. For me its always been the cable that connect the DP to the main unit on the back. From opening and closing the DP a wire breaks. In a pinch I've disconnected the harness tested each wire, ran a replacement wire outside and crimped it just before the connectors on both sides. It's good enough to get the unit up until the part can be ordered.
If the copier has disabled the document processor due to errors you will still need to use simulation 906 to re-enable the device, I would try U906 before I purchased any new parts however.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
It's sounds like angry secretary calling.Post more info please.
Practice makes perfect
If it ain't broke, don't fix it
A picture is worth a thousand words
If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself
zoraldinho is correct in his assesment of help requested by jose1020. If someone is posting for solutions, at least he should give a bit of symptoms of the problem and what he has tried. does the led on the front of the adf lit on power on and ready state? ect.
A man without a sword has little chance when going into battle, meaning, get the maintence mode section of the service manual for the machine and do the necessary checks of motors, sensors ect. Most of the maintence mode simulations are the same for all the kyocera and you can google for a kyocera service manual. hope i am not sounding harsh, but troubleshooting has to be developed and improved as a tech progresses or you will be in that loop forever.

.OK Google! ... will I need Berrocca this morning?
I did not post that webpage, it is free on the web domain for those who will take the time to look, and there are many more sites out there as long as you are willing to search. Once you have it, download and save it for future use. The manuals are effective tools to help you in checking and testing effectively and getting to your solution. Sometimes, you get stuck and the forum are an excellent place to ask for help as their are lots of experience here.
