    Taskalfa 3050ci twain problem

    Hi all, first of all i want to apologize if my post contains some error, i dont write in english often and some words are translated from italian to technical english.
    One of my customer has a Taskalfa 3050ci and he used to acquire pictures into an invoice software using Kyocera twain driver. Yesterday twain driver stopped to work, when he start to acquire picture the 3050ci seems to work well (if i put 10 sheets in adf and start scan from pc all the sheets pass in adf like they should do) but a popup Windows in pc says unable to complete connection. Thinkink about an error of the customer software i tried twain scan from word 2003 (insert-picture from scanner) and picasa with same error. Also tried to reinstall twain driver downloading the last on Kyocera website but did not work. Nothing in the local network has been changed and scan to smb works fine. Operating system is win7-64 and antivirus is nod32. Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

      I had a similar situation on a group of CS-4035's. IT had upgraded the server, and the TWAIN scan would no longer work. As a test, I installed the FTP utility, to see if the scanner would work that way. It did ... and then the TWAIN scanning started to work too. When I turned off the FTP utility, the TWAIN scanning stopped. I have no explanation why, but that's how we left it, with the FTP utility installed and ON, and them scanning via TWAIN. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Hi blackcat, thank you. For FTP utility you mean the scanner file utility? Taskalfa 3050 does not work with the scanner file utility. Today i wiil go and connect a laptop with a crossed network cable excluding the customer network and try twain.
