    Kyocera KM3035 System error when printing (Intermittent)

    I have a KM3035 that is giving this message only when printing from tax software. No issues with MS Office documents only the tax software had the error message and additionally text is missing from the printed document.

    Secondly, the printed tax form 1040 is also missing text but ti is only a certain font it appears. They can print to other devices ok (Canon IR advance 4245 works fine with tax software.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

      go into your printer driver click on printer preferences.go to image.go to fonts

      change from download as outlines change to download as bitmaps.also make sure that adobe is up to date

          Which system error? =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              I would contact the tax software company to see if they support the equipment.
              Why do they call it common sense?

              If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

                  "System Error" turn off main switch is how it was relayed (no code present is how the customer relayed it to me). The last error code was 1/09/'15 3:10 C4200. I forgot to mention that I never actually saw the message. I saw the printed docs with missing text and how they should look.

                  I had the customer contact the tax software folks to see if there were any changes/problems that could have messed with their fonts. It is odd that it works randomly and it is happening from more than one computer when using this software.

                  The driver change is the next step, download fonts as bit maps.

                          False laser codes can result from primary charge arcing, or a failing door switch. Actual laser codes are usually caused by the laser. =^..^=

                              Insure that the Print system firmware and NIC firmware are up to date as well.
