... after installing the Type "D" barcode font SD card.
I was fairly sure immediately that I had caused it. The instructions are straightforward:
- Power Off > insert SD card at YC2000 on the main PWB > power On.
- Default to 600dpi print resolution: !R! FRPO N8:1;EXIT;
- Initialize Barcode Font.
That's it. I get all the fonts on the font list to appear, even the barcodes. The test data captures all print barcodes correctly. It's the damned other text that seems to be gone. I found my clue in the PreScribe command guide. The manual says that when you change the dpi in FRPO N8, it purges the existing 300dpi fonts. So how do I get it to reload the 600dpi fonts? It doesn't say anything about that.
Power Off/On the machine dipshit! They forgot to include that little item. Actually I was very relieved to figure that out, new installation and all.
