Kyocera KM5050 shifting copies, Registration problem?

    Got KM5050 kyocera,
    Using the feeder or glass.
Client complain of papers jam at the fuser like accordion and sometimes copies image shifting to the side up to the point of getting half page image and jams.
This issue happen from all paper cassettes, Upper and lower.
We replaced all kit include fuser. Accordion issues seems solved but registration shifting still happening every few pages.using glass or ADF.
I suspect upper registration rollers or clutch.
Any idea or part numbers please.
    Thanks all

Don't quote me on this, but I seem to recall that the FalconIII has a registration motor, not clutch.

I think I'd start with the middle feed clutch FCL1 (302GR44140). You'll see obvious rust. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

did you try from mp tray?

have you check for "hitting" marks on the paper?

are the feed tires in good condition?

did you check the paper size is indeed what they were asking for? (wrong paper orientation/size = wrong timing = Bob Marley)

is there anything in the vertical path?

      ~~after replacing the fuser~~

is it still jamming the same way? you arent clear on that

if its shifting to the side UP, what orientation is the paper in the tray? I'm guessing the centerline moved up? Do you mean the image arrived early? or late?

developer is connected by clutch, that slipping can give you late image but no paper jam.(last i remembered, correct me if i'm wrong).f4 clutch.jpg Falcon 4. dont have f3

Check middle feed assembly grey rollers. The one on the left is the only one with a one-way bearing in it and they eventually start slipping which causes jamming and image shift. Falcon 1 and 2's had two one way bearings. One on each grey roller so I hardly saw any misfeeds from them.. If the roller is slipping, then exchange the one way roller and shaft. You may do better to just replace the whole middle feed assembly if it is the cause. I hope this helps.

100% correct ,have also encountered this problem with the clutch.RUST.Cleaning it sometimes helps but replacing it will sort it out completely
failure is not an option !

Thanks KJG, i think you are correct, I also suspect the middle unit, I found the clutch assembly P/N but can not find the one way roller.
By the way, Can I install dual one way roller instead of the regular one on the other side?

            Thanks

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. I would not re-engineer the unit, just clean or replace the clutch. =^..^=

We have used the older shafts and rollers in the newer models. It should work just fine. I keep a new middle feed assy in my vehicle since we still have quite a few of these in the field.
They seem to be the guilty party in a lot of unexplained jamming problems.
