TA6551ci bad fuser out of box

Setup 2 band new units out of box for a sale.
    First one went ok.
The next had a loud thumping fuser noise. Got new fuser from parts and replaced the sick one.
Next day when we installed the units at the customer location, the other machine started making the same loud thumping noise. Had to go back and replaced that fuser.

Question is. Is this normal or do we just have bad luck?

Look at the production date. How long has it been sitting there in the box with fixing pressure applied? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

When the machine is off the fixing pressure is not applied. There is a bulletin explaining what was done to resolve the fixing units. If you installed the latest version you should be fine.

Im having the same issue, 3 fuser units now, loud thumping. Just replaced the fuser and 12 hours later.. thump thump thump.

Trying to resolve this with Kyocera tech support is frustrating.

Same here but the fusers are fixed now.
