    km 5050 lockup

Looking for some help on a kyocera that has me stumped, very intermittently it locks up and has to be rebooted. Customer uses it for primarily printing, and large scan jobs (200+). I have upgraded firmware replaced the system memory the memory dimmer chips and the hdd. Any suggestions would be great thank you

"Locked up" meaning ... totally unresponsive? Slow panel response? slow printing? dropping off the network?

Am I getting close yet? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Machine operation locked up (stops printing) operation panel will still beep but is completely inoperable

These lockups can be a premonition of a HDD failure. =^..^=

I'll keep that in mind next time I'm at the customers location. Any other maintenance codes I can run to confirm a failing hdd?

I believe that there is a HDD diagnostic, but it's not conclusive. I've had HDD's that passed the diagnostic, that failed the next day. =^..^=
