    8000i jamming in duplex

I have changed middle assembly but still get 1315 jam codes in the duplex and tray 3. I have changed feed assembly on tray 3 as well.

1315 is the large capacity feeder though, not tray 3 ? I've had to replace the middle feed assy for 1313 & 1314's & it resolved the issue. I don't have any side feeders in the field however.
    Hope that helps !

as tmaged said this jam code refers to the large feeder on the right hand side.if you undo the two screws (one each side ) and disconnect the white plug you can remove the whole assembly.check the three sensors and also the black feed roller.
i would turn off the machine first and disconnect the large capacity feeder then do some duplexing and see if the machine jams.if it dosn,t that will lead you to the large cap feeder.

Run U032 and select 'motor' without selecting a clutch while cheating the interlock on the middle feed door. If your middle transport rollers are being driven (clutch engaged) and can be stopped by a light touch, the middle feed assembly should be replaced.

He replaced the middle assy., which should have the updated one with the brake pads on them.

Ah, right. Reading comprehension isn't so hot in the morning.

In that case, like already said, sounds like an issue with the side feeder.

Thanks guys a "New Middle Assembly" took care of the issues.s The one I previously used had been taken off another machine wrapped and given to me to put on
