FTP gives no error, but doesnt land in PC

    FTP gives no error, but doesnt land in PC

    Ive had this happen with a wide variety of units recently, Seems more prevalent with windows 7/8 Units than the predecessors.

    Does anyone know what causes this issue? Or if there is a work around for it?

    I am skeptical its a copier issue, since its happened on many different units.

      I have had this happen to me, but I'm not sure if it's the same outcome for you.
      It actually was sending the scan to the PC, just not where I went to go find it.
      I was looking in a shortcut that was created for the file I thought the scans were going to, only
      to find out the scans were in a different file somewhere else on the computer.
      You might double check that.?

          Well I am using SFU, and watching the SFU, it says "processing" followed by "ready to receive" with nothing in the event log.

              i have had more than on FTP client installed on one PC and the scans got intercepted by the FTP client i was not aware of.

                      There is protocol to be followed, so it has to be getting to the PC & accepted. Otherwise you would get an error code generated.

                          That's kinda what I was trying to say, I'm just not as technical. I'm PC technically challenged. That's what my network admin. says
