KM-C3232.. not seeing PF-710.. what else can I do??

Ok.. I have made sure that it is NOT a problem with the PF-710.. I have run U906. I have checked the binary code and it does not even see it. I have replaced the power supply, main board, the board located under the output tray..

There are wires running from the connector (witch I have also replaced) to the power supply (red orange and blue) and to a board located under the output tray (thin grey). I have checked voltage to all of them and compared with another machine.. the only difference I have found is that on two of the grey wires, on the good machine I have 1.5 volts and on the bad machine I have 18 volts..

can some one tell me what this means?

Congratulations on finding the different voltage reading. The two boards under the output tray are the engine PWB (at the left) and the printer PWB (at the right).

You may not have noticed, but there are a lot of wires connecting to the engine PWB. There are a lot of wires connecting to the printer PWB also. It would be helpful to know the connector number and pin number and which board these two little gray wires connect to exactly. In addition, the circuit diagrams very accurately define connector number & pin, but no color coding of the harnass.

With that information, a person could determine exactly what that voltage should be. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      engine PWB

It is definitely the engine PWB.. the printer PWB has no wires going to it, it just plugs into the engine PWB.. I have swapped out the engine PWB with no change.

so what would cause the wrong voltage to appear?

This is still true today. Without a connector number and pin number. I cannot look up signal name or voltage. If you really want help I need more information. =^..^=
