[Misc] Kyocera KM3035 very light copy

Kyocera copier KM3035 was in client storage for 2 years.
Recently trying to use the copier but getting very light copies (also when printing internal reports)
Installed new developer unit and initialize and installed new original toner did not solve the problem.
    Please help.

Check the transfer roller assembly. They are known to get knocked around and lose the pressure springs as well as break the holders.

Checked the transfer roller and had to add the missing springs from KM5050 but still getting same issue. I also tried to install used KM5050 transfer roller but same issue. (I not sure if they interchangeable, Maybe I can test the KM3035 on KM5050???)

      Thanks

How does the copy look when you stop it in the middle? Does the copy look good on the drum? Most light copies are from either bad/aftermarket toner or transfer roller.

If the latent developed image looks crappy, perhaps you've got a dirty laser. These machines are certainly old enough to get dirty lasers in the right environment. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

What they said. I would just add that you should check/clean corona assembly.

if it has been sitting for a while I would either replace the dv unit and a new toner or at least dump the dv and use a new toner bottle.

Oops never mind I didnt read far enough down. Yeah what the other guys said especially about the laser slip glass needing cleaned

                Hi guys, thanks
It was transfer roller causing this issue
