A customer is printing multiple copies of a Microsoft word document to a Muratec MFX-3590. The document is an odd number of pages, so the last page should be printed with nothing on the back. The second copy of the document starts printing on the back side of the last page from the previous copy. I assume it's some sort of "paper saving" setting where it does not print blank pages? I can't find any settings on the copier or in the driver that would cause this. I am perplexed.

Sorry I don't know the machine your working on.
Are your using spooled print jobs or direct printing driver settings?
Why two print jobs are concatentated is a puzzle.
As a fudge fix using Microsoft Word.exe :
Try putting a second page break character (blank page) at the very end of the primary document.
The printer code(PCL?) might not be seeing the last page break as the end of print?

If I remember correctly there is a Page End character that you can select, so Word does not generate that last blank page. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I was able to find the fix. In the driver preferences there is a check box labelled "enable collate setting of the application". By checking that, it finalizes the first copy of the document before starting to print the next copy. I have never seen this problem on any other manufacturer I have worked on.Comment
