It is very intermittent. I did see it happen once after updating the firmware and replacing all the boards in the operations panel. After it comes out of sleep mode, the panel is locked up no matter if I press anything on the touch screen or any buttons on the operations panel. The power seems to check out from the wall. Seems to have a good ground also.

When I went there, I could not get the op panel to freeze up. I did a firmware update. Thanks for the help.

Check the firmware level, thought i saw a post about that or an update.

Typically the firmware won't cause the control panel to freeze though. The latest revision is D1A0A0.

I am working on a Muratec MFX-2050. I can make a copy and fax. Then, the copier freezes up and I cannot switch from copy, fax, or scan. The only way I can get another copy is to turn the copier off and on again, but after another few copies it freezes up again. Has anyone seen this before. Thanks for your help.

Have you checked the control panel? Take the covers off and reseat the cables from the control panel to the NGP board and the cables from PCB Panel 1 to PCB Panel 2. You can also call Tech Support and we'll help you.
