[Misc] C2880 Firmware

Has anyone tried to install Konica Minolta C284 firmware in muratec C2880. No firmware available from Muratec.

I didn't even realize there was muratec brand version of this KM series.

I don't know about the firmware but I would look in service mode at the current firmware it has and see if it is the same as the KM version. There should be checksum values that you could compare to see if it indeed the same exact one.

Turns out that three files were different but the KM firmware was loaded in & works fine. Still has Muratec splash screen.

Under ordinary circumstances, the KM firmware will not work with the Muratec machines.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to update the firmware? This machine hasn't been out quite a year yet.

Copier had a lot of wierd jamming issues, firmware had 280 fixes. not available from Muratec.
