    Xante CL30 Network Printer

Hey guys it has been a while since I am overwelmed with a lot of service calls, however I ran into a problem with one of my customers machine, so far I have checked everything including cables and sensors and they appear to be working fine according to the test carried out, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Xante CL30 Network Printer

    Problem:

    Magenta Toner sensor Error
    Yellow Toner Sensor Error

this message keeps scrolling on display. and suggestion will be greatful.

If anyone has a service/Parts Catalogue Please let me know.

Is there a counter to resent this error?

If anyone interested in getting Brother manuals please let me know, it all depends on the model needed.

I don't know how much this is going to help you, but here it is:

The Xante CL30 is identical to the Okidata 9500.

The imaging (drum/developer) units in the Oki can cause the toner sensor errors you describe. It is fairly uncommon to have two come up simultanneously, but I suppose anything is possible. Another possible cause is if the units are not completely seated, or is the alignment pins are broken (=not seated). Any time there is a jam on the transfer belt all the imaging units and the basket must be removed to get the jam. So these units get taken in and out a lot.

No, you probably won't be able to substitute Oki imaging units. Oki keys each unit for its manufacturers, just so that you can't do that.

These machines are almost service free, once you figure out which customer replacable unit you need to change. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There is a white button that sticks up on the toner units (c9200 & I pretty sure the c9300/9500 but can't remember for sure) they are know to give trouble, I have had the same errors but machine will still print, when I replace with new toners it usually goes away but I don't waste the old ones I use them up first, mostly an annoyance to me.

Toner Sensor Error means the toner sensor in the drum unit is causing an error. It could be that the toner is not properly locked, or the drum units have to be replaced. Toner Sensor Error is a common Oki error.
