    MX611 Blank pages

    Hi,

I have recently had a few Lexmark MX611's intermittently copy/print blank pages. On some machines replacing the imaging unit seems to fix the problem but on others the imaging unit is replaced but the problem is still occurring. I have performed the steps in the following Lexmark bulleting without any luck,

Any ideas on what could be causing this issue?

    Thanks,
    Costa.

I wasn't able to open the link for me to view the bulletin you're referring to.. But I'll try to help anyways..
With you already changing the imaging unit, and still getting blank images, I'd say try looking into the image process to eliminate a few things..

-- Is the developing drive coupler engaging the imaging unit on left side.? It may be sticking in the retracted position and not transferring drive to developing area of Imaging Unit.. Once, I've even had the coupler missing altogether..
    -- Defective transfer roller
-- Bent or broken transfer roller left contact spring inside machine
-- Try reseating harnesses on Main PWB concerning Laser Unit ..... (not very likely)
-- Possible defective Laser Unit ..... (least likely)
-- Try reseating harnesses on Power Supply
-- Possible bad Power Supply causing you to lose developing bias, etc..

Thanks for the info Jat. Ended up been the imaging units. There was a bad batch of imaging units which prevented the bias spring, located on the machine from making contact with the drum bushing.

You're not the first to see batches of bad AIO cartridges. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
