    [CQ] Oki c9655 colour misregistration

Hi. I have a user with an Oki c9655 that has blurry print. Both magenta and cyan are not lining up with the yellow or black. This happened after fitting Non Oki drums.

I have registration adjust through the calibration menu but nothing changes. I have also tried another set of (non oki) drums from another working machine, but nothing changes.

I don't really want to get the user to order two new genuine oki drums if this will not fix it, as I seem to remember having the same fault on a Xerox equivalent printer and new drums did not fix the issue.
Is there some sort of manual colour registration adjust?

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks in advance.

    we need more info:
    total pages?
    error when you did autocali?
    life counts on PM parts?
did you clean the registration sensors as outlined in the SM before doing cali's?
    do you HAVE the SM?
    *compatible drums aren't always reliable*

      Total pages 250k
      No error on auto cali
      No consumables are near end
      Reg. sensors are clean
      I don't have a service manual.
If this was a ricoh or a canon I could manually bring the colours into line, adjusting main scan/sub scan, horiontal/ vertical etc.

I wondered if there was a similar adjustement on Oki?

I learned my lesson years ago to only use OKI supplies. I woulds say if it happened after the user installed the non OKI drum units that's your culprit

prob forced the wrong drums into basket, and skewed it. Seen it before... dont it once at my shop years ago. 3640 drums do not work in the 3641/9650 newer boxes... there a hair longer.
