Epson wf-c5710 not recognising black toner

Hi

We have one of these MFP's in the workshop and can't seem to work out what the issue is. We have tried a couple of toners but it still won't recognise it.

Unfortunately we can't seem to get a service manual so any advice on the issue or a link to a service manual whould be great

You have already checked the cartridge reader for good condition. Essential technical manual and latest firmware
