Black powder in drum unit

    Black powder in drum unit

    Hi, i am not a tech but i need you guys to put me on the right direction if possible, i've recently changed the black drum unit for my c224. The print are fine but after lets say a 100 copies black powder accumulate in the drum unit and a line apeears in the prints.
    After cleaning the drum the prints are fine for a while but then the problem return again with black powder in the unit.
    any help is highly appreciated thank you.

    Sounds like you may have a problem with the waste toner collection system, possibly the collection coil in the drum unit.

      I think the new drum unit you purchased is defective. I recommend replacing it with a genuine OEM drum unit or one from a reputable third-party supplier. Retro Bowl
