Paper on roll 1 will feed and width recognized. However, when advancing the paper further, such as to make a cut, it will advance only a couple of inches and error as a paper jam. If trying to print, the printer calls for paper as if there is none loaded. There are no obstructions in the paper path and roll 2 paper feeds normally.

it will need more investigation. It could be stepper motor for roll 1 -machine cuts with error or just leave couple of inches paper without cut? -if first case it could be motor for roll 1. Knife and knife sensors looks working -if roll 2 working.
I've got one machine that machine feeds paper to registration and make jams -cause was spider core pba ;(
