Got a call from a potential customer who said he is unable to print out his scanned tiff images. He can use the Oce as a copier but can't print from the computer. He is running Windows 98 and he says He goes to his scanner station file and tries to transfer the files to the Print Excel folder and the files won't go into the folder so he says and then he can't print. I know the hardware on this but I never look at the software and I don't want to drive 45 miles to not be able to repair this or even where to look. Any help on this issue? Thanks

could be a format problem,check which type of file he is trying to add to print exec.a machine is only as good as your tech : source:screwtape ; the scary one -
I didn't read anything about a print driver. Is this user trying to send tiff's directly to the printer without a driver, or using a home-made driver?
Personally, I'd load a PCL5 or 5e print driver, open the tiff in Paint or Microsoft Picture Viewer, then send it to print with a driver. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
