OCE Plotwave 300 - clicking noise when warming up or printing...

    Hi!

My OCE has been running well since I cleaned the print head, but lately it has started making a clicking sound when it warms up, or while (and for a minute or so after) it is printing. The clicking (sounds like a gear skipping) comes from the middle left side of the front of the machine, and - of course - that is behind several layers of metal panels.

Any secrets for getting deep inside the machine to find the cause of this noise?

Prints and scans are working just fine, including the bypass print function. So the clicking isn't serious, but I am concerned it will only get worse and lead to a real problem...

    Thanks!

Yes, it is a bit of a TIK sound - only happens when the printer side of the machine is being used. Stops after a short time after a sheet is finished printing.
Time to dig out the Developer assembly I guess - I assume that is buried beneath everything else in the machine...

      Thanks,

Broken gear 1x27 1060011834 (you can use also 0002977057 from 7051 which is all from plastic and works longer without breaks)
it also can be from hard running developing unit by bearing stucks, caused by developer in bearing.
