Need advise on how to proceed on Oce TDS400

    HI
I would need your advise on how to proceed on this one.
I have a Oce TDS400 with a fusing problem. The machine is under maintenance agreement with the Oce dealer .The company is not acknowledging there is a fusing problem with the machine. I am attaching the copy of the Service Call Report and a scanned plot which just went off when i rubbed.

The developer is new for the machine all NTC's have been checked or replaced. Both carona's checked/replaced They assume there is nothing else wrong with the machine if these are checked.

Read the engineers report "Made sample prints found toner lightly sticking on hand when wiped. The images or drawings are not going out of paper but in customers old print taken on 16/01/2010 its going". The attached file is taken today 18/01/2010 and its definitely more than just "lightly sticking on hand"

I hope there is some one from Oce here who knows what could be wrong or tell the dealer in India what to fixplan.jpgoce.jpg.

Try replacing the paper, and make additional prints. This machine will error if the fuser is working incorrectly. I have seen many tds400s when I worked for oce. Feel free to ask me any additional questions you would like.

I concour with this ,the machine would error if they was a error with temp unless the fuser or pressure rollers was faulty like any mita machines
toner rubbing of always points at the fuser.

      Regards Alan.

Bad Dev will cause terrible prints everytime. BTW cps800 guru there are no pressure rollers in a tds400, this is an old school toaster fuser. OCE calls it instant on. I really hated CPS800 when I had to service it.

i do hate oce's radiant fusing . i moved on to KIP after the oce i get much better print quality and copy quality but kip drivers are a pain.
There is no manual feed in HDI driver and you cant select roll1 or roll2 only based on media. grrrr
