Riso RP 3505 Master Error

Hey All -

We have a Riso RP 3505 and it runs well - but lately when we try and run a new master the old one tears about 5 inches in the middle of the old master and then jams up the machine.

Then of course we get stuck in a feedback loops of master remains on print cyliner - rewind master - replace master - etc... we know that we can cut a new master and put it on there but that rarely works and is very annoying.

Anyone know what is causing the tear???

I think your asking this question in the wrong forum thread, all the Riso's are "Digital Duplicators" NOT Printers or Fax machine's.
