[Misc] sumsung scx-4725fn has printing on bottom of every page

this machine will print on the bottom of EVEY page that comes out.

copy,fax, reports etc. does not matter every page has this each page prints a different set of numbers but all in the same format. read the service manual but could not find it i have NO ideal what this is any HELP please! thanks howard

I've seen this. I had replaced a laser unit for "LSU Error". When I powered up after the repair, I had the footer you described, starting with a few hexadecimal numbers. If you follow the progression the numbers increase with the copy count, but not consecutively. That may be a pixel count.

Personally, I thought this was some sort of service program used on the assembly line to monitor printer operation. The hotline said no. We tried firmware, which didn't help. In the end the machine got a PBA main controller. If you'd like this feature on another 4725, I saved the PWB. Everything else works normally, you just get the unwanted footer. =^..^=
