Any error codes etc ? if you pulled it out the from the front was the paper still coming through the knife area? Did you pull in the direction of the paper feed or back towards the roll? There is a sensor located under the fuser section which gets broken or knocked out of place quite often. You can not see it until you take the machine apart. This one is a real bear to get to, if that is your problem. -
If you feed another print does the paper from the roll stock move at all, if it goes in approx 8 inches and stops it could be the sensor, but if it continues on to the fuser it is not that sensor. The sensor I was referring to is located under the fuser and then the guide plates under the fuser must be removed to get to the sensor. There is no way on earth you can actually see the sensor unless you remove the above components. Check everything else first. Make sure the paper feed guide located behind the transfer corona is locked in position. There are green levers on both sides of the machine that must be latched. Unlatch it and then relatch to make sure it is in the proper position.Comment
