    [Error Code] CLX -3175 ( FW )

    Hello , first time on this forum , I think I'm at the right place for my need and answer ( I'm french so sorry for the mistake and some turn around wording )

    I have a CLX 3175 FW , I have remove the PCB main card ( where is the toner counter chip ) , when I have reinstall the card I have 2 error on the screen
    - REPLACE IMAGING UNIT
    - REPLACE TRANSFERT BELT

    I have double check all the connection it look to be where it should be , I have retry to push all the connection no luck at all

    any suggestion

    PS if you need more info ask me I might be able to give some .

      is it possable that these are starter components and they have no chips. the replacements would be chipped. clx-3175 is what make? or there could be a proceedure for resetting the count when new components are replaced. maybe you check where you purcahsed the machine

          well , first sorry it is a SAMSUNG CLX 3175

          I have not change the toner cartridge

          I was just wondering if someone know which connector it could be not connect properly ...

              Perhaps it would be a good idea to replace the imaging unit and replace the transfer belt unit? There is an electronic reset to clear those messages, but I strongly recommend that you replace those units. The recommendation is based on image counts, not on a CRUM or EEPROM chip. And the manufacturer does not set up these warnings just for funsies. The warnings are to anticipate image quality issues, some of which you are probably already seeing.

              When you have replacement units, I think you find an appropriate thread all about resetting the drum counter. The transfer roller counter reset is in the same menu. All you need to do is search.

              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
