[Misc] What are the software dipswithces on a KM 1200p

All I really want to do is have a jam-code come up when we get a jam. The engineer was in a little while ago saying it was a software dipswitch, but as he didn't have his laptop with him, he couldn't tell me which one it is. I've managed to output a list of the (50) available switches, but have no idea what any of them do. So, if someone could tell me which is the one relating to displaying jam codes I would be grateful, even more so if someone could provide a list of what each of them does.
Also, please no adverts for service manuals for sale, thanks.

Well that's exactly what you need is the service manual. As an end user you can REALLY fuck up your machine by fucking with the dip switches. As you saw, your engineer didn't have his laptop with him so even he didn't want to mess with it. So instead of buying a manual for $12.77 you want a trained technician to share his years of expertise, training, skill and knowledge with you so you can save a buck. Good luck with that buddy!

Is today stupid day and nobody told me? What you deserve is for some 'hero' to come along and give you the wrong information, then your tech will come back and charge you twice as much cause he'll know you fucked with it.

        Uh, oh..."AB1984".

        Sounds dangerously similar to ""aab1".

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Here, I will help. Make sure all of the switches are turned to "on" or "1". Then reboot the machine. Your welcome.

Ah, our 'hero' Mr Spock. But since I mentioned it, this could be deliberate false information, we'll only know if the original poster comes back and he's pissed off. LOL
What's with the half assed answer? You didn't tell him what they all mean?

If you have the manual look them up.... If you do not have the manual have someone send it to you.
